C, title XXXI, §3127, Dec. 18, 2025, 139 Stat. 1470 , provided that: "The Secretary of Energy shall treat any position in the Department of Energy which requires the performance of duties funded with amounts from subfunctional category 053, atomic energy defense activities, as a position necessary to fulfill the national security responsibilities of the Department of Energy."
